About the Role
Inscape is seeking Part-Time and Full-Time Lecturers who are passionate about lecturing and shaping the minds of young designers. With at least an Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) in a related field, you’ll join our talent pool and be considered for open positions. This role focuses on guiding students, assessing work, and collaborating with industry to elevate design education.
What You'll Do
- Act as a Lecturer guiding students through learning and discovery
- Navigate students through the galaxy of learning and discovery
- Assess student work and provide feedback with flair
- Enter marks and monitor performance as part of administrative duties
- Network with industry stars and other higher education institutions
- Be the life of campus events, because design is not just a job, it’s a party
- Attend meetings and training to brainstorm ideas that are out of this world
What We're Looking For
- Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) in a related field
- Teaching or industry experience
- Excellent knowledge of your design discipline
- Tech-savviness to rock online systems and gadgets
- Professional English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Interpersonal skills for collaboration
- Imagination and problem-solving abilities
