About the Role Regent University's College of Arts & Sciences seeks a faculty member to teach Christian Ministry. The successful candidate will teach foundational and applied Christian ministry courses, primarily on-campus in Virginia Beach, VA, with the potential to cover theology courses if qualified. What You'll Do
- Teach 15-week on-campus Christian Ministry courses in the Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry department; some 8-week online courses via Canvas expected.
- Develop and deliver foundational (theoretical) and applied Christian ministry curriculum; contribute to teaching across the Christian Ministry major and potentially theology.
- Engage in Christ-centered teaching, scholarly activity, and effective online and in-person communication; shepherd residential and online students; participate in inter-faculty collegiality and uphold University identity and mission. What We're Looking For
- Doctoral degree: PhD in Practical Theology or equivalent; extensive ministry experience in pastoral ministry, missions, or Christian counseling.
- Experience developing and teaching Christian ministry curriculum preferred; ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; proficiency with Canvas and online instruction.
- Commitment to Christ-centered teaching, solid oral and written communication skills, and alignment with Regent’s Mission statements. Nice to Have
- Qualifications to potentially cover theology courses; broader ministry leadership or teaching experience in Christian ministry. Compensation & Benefits
