About the Role The Leasing Agent at Van Allen Apartments in Rensselaer, NY, is responsible for providing excellent customer service to prospective and current residents. This full-time, in-office position focuses on sales, resident satisfaction, and accurate record-keeping, including using Entrata for property management data.
What You'll Do
- Lead tours of apartments and present the benefits of the community
- Respond to leads by phone, in-person, and in writing; maintain professional communication
- Screen prospective residents and assist residents with questions or requests
- Maintain accurate, detailed records using Entrata; comply with Fair Housing regulations
- Foster productive relationships with the Property Manager, site team, and coworkers; perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Some previous relevant experience in apartment leasing and customer service
- Excellent customer service, sales, and problem-solving skills
- Professional verbal and written communication; detail-oriented with the ability to prepare paperwork and reports
- Cannot be a resident of a Sunrise-managed apartment community
- If you hold a real estate license, you must be willing to transfer it to Sunrise Management & Consulting
- Must have a valid New York State driver’s license and reliable transportation
