• Designer 1 works on defined learning projects with stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to ensure products and experiences are clear, structured, aligned, and effective. This role applies instructional design and project coordination skills to support learning solutions from definition through delivery.

• This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys turning learning needs into practical solutions, building alignment across partners, and helping projects move forward with clarity and purpose.

• Identify and communicate risks early.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, project teams, and vendors.

• Document lessons learned and apply them to improve future work.

• Learning Strategy and Solution Design

• Apply instructional design principles to support solution design within the defined scope.

• Recommend learning solutions aligned with stakeholder needs, audience needs, and desired outcomes.

• Partner with stakeholders to define needs, audience, learning or performance objectives, and success criteria.

• Guide the design and development of high-quality instructional content, courses, and learning experiences by providing vendors and project partners with instructional design expertise, direction, and feedback.

• Establish learning strategies and translate objectives into clear instructional approaches.

• Project Coordination and Execution

• Support instructional projects from beginning to end.

• Support project coordination and alignment with scope, schedule, objectives, and other project requirements.

• Develop project briefs and track progress to ensure alignment with goals and success criteria.

• Work with project and product managers to define scopes, schedules, and budgets as appropriate.

• Facilitate stakeholder and vendor alignment, escalate risks, and engage needed resources to support delivery.

• Coordinate work across project teams that may include writing, editing, visual design, development, and other disciplines.

• Vendor Collaboration and Oversight

• Provide input on vendor fit for projects.

• Direct vendor work through clear guidance, expectations, and feedback.

• Monitor vendor performance and recommend improvements when needed.

• Quality Assurance and Delivery

• Ensure deliverables are clear, aligned, effective, and appropriate for the intended audience.

• Identify issues and support resolution with practical recommendations.

• Define review expectations to help stakeholders and project teams provide effective feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing instructional content.

• Knowledge of and experience with eLearning and media development tools.

• Demonstrated ability to apply instructional design principles to learning solutions.

• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and project coordination skills.

• Ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality.
