About the Role The Learning & Development Lead at Dr. Martens Made in England Factory will build the capability, skills and future talent pipeline to enable world-class craft manufacturing, quality, productivity and operational excellence. As a key member of the Made in England Leadership Team, the role will develop and execute the site learning strategy, protecting, scaling and transferring heritage craftsmanship to future generations. What You'll Do
- Develop technical capability, leadership effectiveness, multi-skilling and succession strength across the factory
- Create and oversee apprenticeships and structured learning pathways
- Drive capability-building to support a future-ready organisation and sustained performance
- Collaborate with the leadership team to embed learning solutions that align with site objectives
- Champion knowledge transfer of heritage craftsmanship and continuous improvement What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in Learning & Development within a manufacturing or craft environment
- Ability to design and implement learning strategies, programs and apprenticeships
- Strong leadership, collaboration and influencing skills
- Track record of building capability, talent pipelines and succession planning
- Commitment to preserving heritage craftsmanship while enabling scalability Nice to Have
- Experience in Made In England or premium manufacturing contexts
