We are looking for a strategic, business-savvy L&D professional who thrives on building trusted relationships with leaders. As a Learning & Development Business Partner, you will act as the link between L&D and the business units you support, ensuring learning solutions are aligned with business priorities.
In this role, you'll act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, diagnosing capability gaps, translating business challenges into learning strategies, and embedding L&D initiatives into the everyday rhythm of the business. This is a role for someone with strong commercial acumen alongside deep L&D expertise.
This is you
- Significant experience in L&D, HR, or a business partnering role, ideally within a matrixed organization
- Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to speak the language of the business unit(s) you support
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and consulting skills, including with senior leaders
- Solid understanding of L&D strategies and how they contribute to business success
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using workforce/performance data to inform recommendations
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders and projects
- Excellent written and spoken English
This is your role
- Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders within your assigned business unit(s).
- Diagnose business challenges and translate them into clear L&D priorities and interventions.
- Partner with the L&D team to design and commission learning solutions that address business-specific needs.
- Track and report on the business impact of L&D initiatives, using workforce and performance data.
- Act as a change agent, supporting leaders through organizational change with the right L&D support.
- Influence business leaders to prioritize and invest in the development of their teams.
- Provide the L&D Manager with regular insight into business unit needs, risks, and emerging priorities.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other People functions for a joined-up approach to talent development.
