About this role

Job title: Learning Content Developer

About the Role The Learning Content Developer designs, builds, and delivers e-learning modules, videos, animations, simulations, and ILT/VILT materials for diverse audiences. They own the end-to-end content development lifecycle—from needs analysis to publishing and testing in the LMS/LXP—leveraging AI, data-driven optimization, and modern UX to create engaging, accessible, and scalable learning experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze training needs and define clear learning and performance objectives.
  • Design learning solutions (e-learning, Video, Animation, ILT/VILT) using learning science and adult learning principles.
  • Develop e-learning modules with an authoring tool, including interactivity, scenarios, and assessments.
  • Produce and edit videos, audio, screen-captures, graphics, and captions.
  • Create slide decks, participant materials, and job aids.
  • Package, upload, and test content in the LXP and check tracking and reporting.
  • Use AI tools to support writing, summarizing, question creation, etc.
  • Use learner feedback and basic learning data to improve content.
  • Work closely with SMEs and stakeholders, manage reviews and approvals.
  • Support the Global Masters Competition.

What We're Looking For

  • Instructional design with clear learning objectives, basic learning science, practical and scenario-based activities, good assessment design.
  • Content creation: strong writing and storyboarding, clear and simple language, good visual sense, creation of ILT/VILT materials and job aids.
  • Media production: good skills in at least one e-learning authoring tool and skills in video/audio editing tools.
  • Collaboration and project skills: strong communication, ability to simplify complex topics, experience working with SMEs, planning and organizing work, managing timelines and feedback rounds.
  • Future-focused skills (AI & data): practical use of AI tools for content creation.
  • Curiosity about new learning technologies.
  • Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Digital Media, Communication, or similar; or equivalent practical experience. Technical understanding and knowledge. Construction Equipment specific technical understanding advantageous. Proven examples of e-learning, video/animation, and ILT/VILT materials developed from concept to delivery. Experience working with subject matter experts and business stakeholders, ideally in an international environment. Experience with common authoring and media tools. Initial experience with AI-assisted content creation and/or learning analytics, and motivation to develop further in these areas.

  • Construction Equipment specific technical understanding advantageous.
  • Initial experience with AI-assisted content creation and/or learning analytics, and motivation to develop further in these areas.
