About the Role

Avant Tech Nigeria is looking for an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to design, develop, coordinate, and evaluate impactful learning initiatives that enhance employee and client capabilities. The successful candidate will create engaging training programs, facilitate learning sessions, assess training effectiveness, and promote a culture of continuous learning across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct training needs assessments for internal teams and clients.
Design and develop learning materials, training manuals, presentations, and e-learning content.
Facilitate physical and virtual training sessions.
Coordinate training schedules, logistics, and participant engagement.
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
Develop competency frameworks and learning pathways.
Partner with subject matter experts to create industry-specific learning solutions.
Monitor learning trends and recommend innovative training methods.
Maintain training records and prepare reports on learning outcomes.
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory training requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Learning and Development, Corporate Training, or Talent Development.
Experience designing and delivering both classroom and virtual training programs.
Strong instructional design and facilitation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an added advantage.
Relevant certifications in Learning and Development, HR, or Training are an added advantage.
