Job Objective/Summary:

The Learning and Development Officer will serve as the primary administrator and subject-matter specialist for the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring its effective administration, optimization, and continuous improvement. The role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end digital learning experience, including learning programme setup, user management, course administration, learning pathways, reporting, learning analytics, compliance tracking, and employee engagement.

The role will also support broader Learning and Development activities, including Training Needs Analysis (TNA), training programme coordination, facilitation, learning evaluation, Continuous Professional Development (CPD), and knowledge management.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS) to support effective learning delivery and employee engagement.
• Manage LMS users, enrolments, courses, learning pathways, assessments, certifications, and learning records.
• Upload, organize, and maintain digital learning and e-learning content and ensure timely programme updates.
• Generate and analyse LMS reports, dashboards, and learning analytics to track participation, completion, compliance, and training effectiveness.
• Provide LMS user support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with IT teams and LMS vendors where required.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and capability assessments to identify learning gaps and development priorities.
• Design, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate technical, behavioural, functional, and leadership development programmes using blended learning approaches.
• Evaluate learning outcomes using feedback, assessments, and learning analytics, and recommend continuous improvements.
• Promote LMS adoption and a strong learning culture across the organization.
• Maintain accurate learning records, reports, and documentation in line with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
