About the Role Nemak is seeking a Lean Engineer to analyze and improve logistics, administration, and manufacturing processes within a lean environment. The role focuses on identifying improvement opportunities, managing lean projects, and developing and implementing lean strategies to drive production optimization. The successful candidate will train and coach employees, report to management, and contribute to audit documentation and workplace optimization. What You'll Do
- Analyze and evaluate logistics, administration, and manufacturing processes.
- Identify potential improvements and manage lean projects.
- Develop and implement lean strategies and improvement measures.
- Plan, implement, and follow up on workshops and projects.
- Deliver training and coaching on lean activities to employees.
- Support the continuous optimization of production processes.
- Apply and further develop controlling and management tools.
- Report to management and assist audit preparations and documentation.
- Contribute to workplace design/optimization. What We're Looking For
- Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering, or comparable qualification.
- Initial professional experience in lean management or process optimization, ideally in an industrial company.
- Knowledge of common lean methods (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, CIP, value stream analysis).
- Confident use of MS Office; SAP knowledge an advantage.
- Very good analytical skills, strong communication skills, and assertiveness.
- Good English skills.
- Ability to work in a team, initiative, and structured approach to work.
