About the Role We are seeking a technically savvy, visionary leader that can partner with the SVP of Field Engineering (also a co-founder) and the broader leadership team of a 3,000-person global organization within Databricks. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a rapidly growing technology company by defining and executing strategies that drive scale, productivity, and technical excellence. This role is focused on several strategic outcomes critical for the future growth of Databricks: Shaping and driving the future of FE, Ensuring product execution at scale, Driving effective Delivery and Enablement execution, and being a company-first leader that can bridge across GTM and Product. This role will also help drive a high-performing, AI-driven builder culture, identifying ways to leverage AI, automation, and tooling to increase efficiency, improve decision-making, and enable teams to focus on the highest-impact work. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and technical leadership.

What You'll Do

• Shaping and driving the future of FE, ensuring product execution at scale, and driving effective Delivery and Enablement execution; act as a company-first leader bridging GTM and Product.
• Help drive a high-performing, AI-driven builder culture by leveraging AI, automation, and tooling to boost productivity and decision-making.
• Partner with the SVP and leadership to set long-term organizational strategy, drive critical initiatives, and ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Define operating models, centralization vs BU accountability, and pilot initiatives for future operating models.
• Ensure GTM Product Execution at scale by contributing to product planning, target setting, and resources; run inspection cadences across Product, Sales, Operations, FE to resolve issues.
• Proactively surface and address gaps with regional and product teams; drive enablement and delivery excellence with PS and Enablement leaders.
• Shape PS and Enablement strategy, including FDE strategy, resourcing and hiring; scale Professional Services and Enablement operations with AI and automation.
• Demonstrate leadership with vision and clarity; maintain accountability across a large organization; influence across Strategy, Operations, Product, Sales, Finance, People, etc.
• Use data, experience, and technical expertise to identify bottlenecks, test new approaches, and optimize performance and growth.

What We're Looking For

• Deep technical understanding of field engineering organizations, enterprise solutions, and technology strategy.
• 10+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, or technical leadership in high-growth technology companies.
• Proven ability to define strategy and execute at scale in complex, technical organizations.
• Experience running centralized technical or operational functions and influencing distributed teams.
• Strong perspectives on leveraging AI, automation, and tooling to drive productivity and enable builder-first culture.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and influence skills; comfortable working across Product, Sales, Finance, People, and technical teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and experimental mindset; comfortable testing new approaches and iterating based on data and outcomes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with internal leaders and external partners.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity, balancing innovation with operational rigor, and driving accountability across large, complex organizations.
