Job title: Lead Window Installer
About the Role Lead Window Installer will be responsible for window and door installation on a single job site, ensuring customer satisfaction, pre-arrival planning for materials and resources, measuring windows and doors prior to work, performing installations, and proper site shutdown. This role also provides direction and training to an Installer and represents Renewal by Andersen to homeowners.
What You'll Do
- Lead installation of windows and doors on a single job site from start to finish, including pre-install planning and measurement verification.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and a smooth, hassle-free experience; explain daily plan to homeowners and answer questions.
- Manage on-site resources, scheduling, and materials; coach and mentor junior installers.
- Maintain safety, quality, and clean job-site shutdown practices; document and escalate issues as needed.
- Serve as the face of Renewal by Andersen, including requesting online reviews from happy homeowners.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years window installation and remodeling experience (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years managing job sites and leading crews in construction (preferred).
- Ability and willingness to coach and mentor other installers.
- Proven track record of superior workmanship.
- Availability to work when homeowners are available (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; working knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license; strong communication with peers and homeowners.
- Ability to handle conflicts with tact, organize tasks, and work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy and excellent customer service orientation; accountability and teamwork; diagnostic, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
