Job title: Lead Window Installer - Glenview
About the Role The Lead Installer is responsible for window and door installation on a single job site, ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering a white-glove installation experience. You will plan materials, verify measurements, perform installations, and provide direction and training to Installers per Renewal by Andersen guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Install windows and doors on assigned job site from pre-site preparation through final cleanup.
- Plan materials and resources and coordinate with homeowners to ensure a smooth installation.
- Confirm measurements prior to commencement and adapt as needed during the job.
- Demonstrate craftsmanship, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine to complex installations.
- Lead and coach Installers, representing Renewal by Andersen as a skilled craftsman and customer-service ambassador.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years window installation and remodeling experience (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years managing job sites and leading crews in a construction environment (preferred).
- Ability and willingness to coach and mentor other installers.
- Proven track record of superior workmanship.
- Availability to work when homeowners are available (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Effective communication with peers and homeowners; ability to handle confrontation and maintain perspective under demanding conditions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks and job requirements.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment; empathy and customer service skills; accountability and teamwork.
- Diagnostic skills: assessment, problem solving, and decision making.
- Self-motivation, time- and work-process management, and ability to work independently.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base pay with bonus structure; expected earnings based on commissions: $27.19–$48.95 per hour plus up to $770 per period incentive.
- Base pay is based on factors including experience, location, and certifications.
