Job title: Lead User Experience Designer
About the Role Logitech is seeking a Lead User Experience Designer to lead design initiatives for best-in-class software experiences with related hardware connections. You are a systems-oriented thinker who thrives on solving ambiguous, multi-faceted problems and understands China/AP consumer dynamics with a global perspective. You will communicate design thinking across leadership, engineering, and product teams, and mentor others as needed.
What You'll Do
- Own lead projects and coordinate activities of other designers (as Design Lead).
- Network with management and key contacts inside and outside your area of expertise; act as a spokesperson on major design policies, plans and objectives.
- Leverage the overall UX process for developing software solutions across the product development lifecycle.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and specifications to communicate design concepts to senior leadership, engineering, and product partners.
- Design information architecture for complex systems; develop storyboards, mockups, prototypes to communicate ideas.
- Design accessible digital software products and work remotely with engineers and product managers throughout all stages of production.
- Present design work to multiple teams and senior leadership for review and feedback; advocate for design solutions in the context of business and user goals.
- Thrive in a self-directed culture; navigate ambiguity with a strong point of view and humility to lead others.
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in interaction design and systems thinking; ability to build, maintain and manage complex consumer-facing experiences.
- Deep expertise in user-centered design principles.
- In-depth experience with desktop and mobile application design; knowledge of desktop and mobile information architecture and usability principles.
- Skills in creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes; knowledge of accessibility guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to design polished user interfaces with strong color, typography, motion, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Abstract, Sketch, and Figma.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with developers for implementation.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for Logitech, its products, and its customers.
- Preference for experience understanding China/AP markets and consumer dynamics.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams and remote/hybrid collaboration.
- Familiarity with design systems and scaling design across products.
