Join a global Center of Expertise to drive innovation in ultrasonic welding technologies. You will lead the definition and deployment of standardized processes and advanced equipment solutions that boost production excellence across international sites. Based near the headquarters network in Germany, you will shape the Production Management strategic roadmap for ultrasonic welding and contribute to the future of smart manufacturing.
What You'll Do
- Define and optimize ultrasonic welding processes, including setting and validating critical parameters
- Maintain close interaction with product and component development teams
- Lead process development and industrialization activities for new products, ensuring robust and scalable solutions
- Establish and implement global technical standards and procedures for ultrasonic welding across sites
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, cost-effectiveness, profitability and process capability
- Develop the standard concept for end-to-end material flow within production facilities and value streams, including LEAN layouts
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for welding defects and production issues
- Specify, select, and support the implementation of ultrasonic welding equipment in collaboration with suppliers and in line with global equipment strategy
- Train, mentor, and support engineering and production teams with knowledge transfer across the organization
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or Materials Science
- Minimum 5 years of professional leading experience in Ultrasonic Welding
- Strong background in Mechanical Engineering and Welding Technologies
- Focus on quality, efficiency, and technology optimization
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree or further education in Welding is a plus
