What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
- Manage the overall classroom, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
- Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
- Implement our proprietary LEAP Curriculum® with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschoolers in a way that meets each child’s unique needs.
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
- Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements via mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Support center success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
- Build strong relationships with families and coworkers to foster a seamless play-and-learn environment.
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of professional teaching experience preferred; at least six months of professional teaching experience required.
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field; high school diploma/GED required.
- NC credentials or equivalency.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
Nice to Have
- CPR/First Aid certification if not already listed as required is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour.
