We are looking for a Lead Texture & Material Artist to join our team.
Your responsibilities:
- Work with outsourcing teams in a lead role: provide feedback, control deadlines, mentor, and demonstrate best practices
- Create details and micro-details for environments, improve and rework existing ones
- Craft details and micro-details for characters/assets
- Design decals for assets/characters/environments
- Tune final PBR materials within the project engine
Our candidate should have:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
- Proficiency in Substance Designer, Zbrush, and Substance Painter
- Experience with custom engines and shaders
- Experience with various version control systems
The advantage will be:
- Proficiency in Houdini, hand-drawing skills
- Experience in team management or working with outsourcing partners
- Artistic education or relevant background
