Lead Testing Services Consultant (Test Manager)

About the Role Lead Testing Services Consultant (Test Manager) within SimCorp's Advanced Delivery Center (ADC). You will own the testing approach across assigned projects, provide strategic leadership, and collaborate with internal QA teams and client stakeholders to ensure quality and dependable go-lives. What You'll Do

• Define and adapt test strategies based on project scope, objectives, risks, and timelines; create detailed test plans and align schedules.
• Contribute to effort estimation and resource planning; analyze artifacts (WBS, requirements, configuration docs) to derive testing scope; identify delivery risks and mitigate actions.
• Own testing governance and act as the primary escalation point for testing-related risks and quality issues.
• Organize and lead test activities for internal and external teams; design and execute functional component, end-to-end, and system integration tests.
• Manage incident tracking and resolution; monitor test progress and incident handling across teams; ensure adherence to delivery practices.
• Engage stakeholders from project initiation to closure; conduct kick-off meetings, defect triage calls, workshops, and provide regular test metrics and status updates.
• Support clients during their test execution, including test suite handover and Q&A; act as the primary testing counterpart for clients, balancing SimCorp delivery standards with client models.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by refining standard service delivery practices and delivering final test reports at project closure.
• Collaboration scope includes Internal QA/test teams, External client teams, Configuration and development teams, Project managers and business stakeholders. What We're Looking For

• Technical skills: Proficient in MS365; experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans, Jira, Agility, HP ALM; solid understanding of established testing practices; familiarity with financial domain processes and SCD knowledge.
• Certifications: ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager; ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level Test Analyst; PMP certification (considered a plus). Nice to Have
• PMP certification is a plus
