Job title: Lead Software Engineer (Front-end/C#.Net/Angular)

About the Role Lead Software Engineer at SimCorp is at the forefront of our cloud-native web platform transformation, guiding a self-organized scrum team and shaping the next generation of web and cloud frameworks using C#.NET and Angular.

What You'll Do

  • Lead-level development of new technological stack and frameworks to support migration into a new 3-tier architecture and web
  • Design and implement new technological frameworks
  • Ensure usability, technical documentation, security, performance, deployment, maintenance, and support of the solution
  • Collaborate with the PO and EM to create and refine testable user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Drive backlog refinement as a team effort and continuously steer toward delivery
  • Mentor, coach, and help colleagues secure the team's commitments, quality, and product architecture

What We're Looking For

  • Essential: Several years in software development for web applications
  • Extensive expertise in C#.NET and Angular (recent versions)
  • Deep understanding of modern web technologies including RxJS, NgRx, and CSS
  • Experience with cloud technologies, Microsoft Azure
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to guide others
  • In-depth understanding of software architecture patterns and methodologies
  • Proficient written and verbal English
  • Advantageous: Experience with framework development, Rx.Net, multithreading, financial software development, leading technical initiatives, CI/CD practices/tools, microservices and cloud-native development

Nice to Have

  • Experience with framework development
  • Knowledge of multithreading and Rx.Net
  • Background in financial software development
  • Previous experience in leading technical initiatives
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools
  • Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native development
