Job title: Lead Software Developer

About the Role The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications which need to be deployed at a client end and ensure 100% quality assurance parameters. You will understand requirements and design the product/software, develop software solutions, investigate problem areas across the software development lifecycle, and collaborate with teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. You will also contribute to validation, documentation, and ongoing improvement to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or client-deployed applications.
• Analyze requirements, study information needs, system flow, data usage and work processes; convert requirements to feasible design.
• Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development with high quality and low bugs.
• Develop and automate software validation by creating test cases/scenarios/usage cases and executing them.
• Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues and participate in the software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts on software requirements; coordinate with project managers for information on capabilities.
• Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities and status; ensure proper documentation and replication patterns.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and status updates; capture requirements and clarifications from the client for quality work.
• Provide feedback on usability and serviceability; maintain strong customer interaction via email, fault reports, calls, and professional etiquette.
• Maintain ongoing status reporting with stakeholders; focus on customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on best practices and new programming languages.
• Document and demonstrate solutions with clear code comments, flowcharts, diagrams and other documentation; maintain high-quality interaction with customers.
• Support and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for testing solutions and delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and programming, with experience in automation and testing.
• Expert-level knowledge of several programming languages, tools, and quality management standards/processes.
• Ability to translate client requirements into feasible designs; capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis, debugging, and problem-solving; ability to improve system performance and availability.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills; comfortable with customer-facing interactions and status updates.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and software validation concepts; proactive in learning and applying new technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, adhere to schedules, and deliver quality software on time.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of current and upcoming technologies and how to apply them to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
