Job title: Lead Software Developer
About the Role This role is responsible for designing, testing and maintaining software programs for client deployments and ensuring quality assurance throughout the software lifecycle. You will translate client requirements into feasible software designs, develop solutions, test thoroughly, automate validation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop and maintain software for operating systems or applications deployed at client sites, ensuring quality and adherence to project standards.
- Understand requirements, analyze data flow and processes, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements in performance and availability.
- Collaborate with functional teams and project managers to translate requirements into designs, write code, and ensure feasible deployment plans.
- Create and automate test cases/usage scenarios, validate software, fix defects, and adapt software to new hardware or interfaces.
- Prepare documentation, status reports, and ensure codes follow project norms with clear replication patterns.
- Coordinate daily project status, provide feedback on usability, and maintain ongoing stakeholder communication; participate in continuous learning and education.
- Interact with customers and engineering staff to define interfaces, specifications, and performance requirements; document solutions with diagrams and code comments.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with software development life cycle, coding, debugging, and testing.
- Strong programming knowledge and experience with automation, tools, and systems.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis, problem solving, and drive system performance improvements.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, deployment and monitoring of software.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills; ability to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to continue learning, stay current on best practices, and help team members.
- Knowledge of quality management standards and processes.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work with stakeholders.
