About this role
About the Role Lead Site Reliability Engineer (Azure/PowerShell) to deliver Client Reporting-as-a-Service. Based in Manila, you will maintain platform operations for a global client base, working in a DevOps/Agile environment on cloud technologies and automation.
What You'll Do
- Manage support cases within incident management; provide Level 3 support to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with the Client Reporting Platform.
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades: Windows Server patching, infrastructure/application upgrades, license management, service and system restarts, VM and SQL Server backup/restores.
- Handle service requests for environment refreshes, data migrations, deploying Virtual Machines, and installing whitelisted software.
- Write and maintain PowerShell scripts; work with Azure DevOps; update 'everything-as-code' artifacts to fix issues and automate operational processes.
- Support security/compliance commitments: vulnerability monitoring/remediation, annual penetration testing, disaster recovery testing, and audit checks.
- Deploy scheduled changes using continuous delivery tooling within a Change Management framework.
- Contribute to onboarding new customers and enhancing offerings by delivering infrastructure deployments and troubleshooting issues.
- Provide on-call support outside regular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Collaborate with teams across multiple locations, perform root-cause analysis, and drive reliable operational services.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in cloud platform operations and Site Reliability Engineering principles.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Azure PowerShell cmdlets; experience with Azure IaaS.
- Solid experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DFS/GPO, Remote Desktop Services, IIS and SSL Certificates.
- Strong networking knowledge (IP addressing, routing, VPNs; OSI layers 3/7); firewall management (CheckPoint CloudGuard); VPN tunnels; packet capture/analysis.
- Experience with Azure resources: VMs, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Load Balancers, VNET/Subnets/NICs/Route tables/Public IP, Monitor/Log Analytics, Blob Storage, AAD.
- Familiar with code hosting/DevOps tools (Git, Visual Studio Team Services, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with Citrix ADC/Netscaler/StoreFront/Desktop.
- Terraform familiarity; DataDog monitoring familiarity.
- Willingness to work on-call and in a service-delivery role; strong problem-solving and learning mindset.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering framework.
- Experience with cloud and infrastructure monitoring tools beyond DataDog.
