As a Lead Services Specialist - Technical Support, you will provide technical expertise supporting the design, optimization, and performance of Electrical Submersible Pumping (ESP) systems throughout their lifecycle. Working closely with customers, Account Managers, Production Engineers, Field Service personnel, Reliability Engineers, and the ARMO organization, you will develop fit-for-purpose artificial lift solutions that maximize production, reliability, and asset value.
This role combines engineering analysis, customer engagement, and operational problem-solving to address complex production challenges while delivering high-quality technical support and exceptional customer service.
As a Lead Services Specialist - Technical Support, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and optimizing ESP systems based on well conditions, production targets, and operational requirements.
- Analyzing production and well performance data to evaluate ESP system effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities.
- Providing technical support to customers, Production Engineers, Account Managers, Field Service personnel, and ARMO teams.
- Troubleshooting ESP system performance issues and supporting root cause analysis and corrective action development.
- Developing technical recommendations to improve production, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Delivering customer presentations, technical training sessions, and technology updates.
- Preparing technical reports, engineering documentation, case studies, and technical papers.
- Collaborating with product, reliability, manufacturing, and service delivery teams to improve technology performance and customer outcomes.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance engineering efficiency, service quality, and operational excellence.
- Promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or an Engineering Technology Diploma with relevant oil and gas industry experience.
- Demonstrate knowledge of artificial lift systems, production engineering principles, and ESP applications.
- Possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Have excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Be self-motivated with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer results.
- Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork, professional development, and service excellence.
- Have oil and gas production experience, which would be considered an advantage.
- Have 0-5 years of relevant industry experience; entry-level candidates will be considered.
- Be able to work full-time onsite.
- Be legally authorized to work without company sponsorship now or in the future.
