About the Role Are you a skilled Lead Salesforce Engineer ready to build the technology that transforms how we engage with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) globally? We are seeking a hands-on expert to drive the evolution of our digital ecosystem and mentor a talented team. You will be a key partner to the IT Director, shaping our future technical roadmap and making the decisions that will define our success for years to come. What You'll Do
- Take technical ownership of our core engagement platform (currently centered on Salesforce), improving its performance, scalability, and integration capabilities for our 20+ global markets.
- Lead the evaluation and proof-of-concept for new technologies that will form the foundation of our next-generation architecture.
- Establish and embed software engineering best practices, fostering a culture of high-quality code, robust design, and continuous improvement within our hybrid engineering team.
- Lead the successful delivery of at least one major new product or capability that measurably improves the experience for our sales, brand, and marketing teams.
- Partner with the IT Director and Enterprise Architects to design and govern the technology roadmap, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and future proof.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a hybrid engineering team.
- Conduct code and design reviews, contribute to critical parts of the codebase, and set the standard for technical excellence.
- Oversee our core CRM platform (Salesforce), ensuring its optimal performance while actively planning its integration with and/or migration to future systems. What We're Looking For
- Essential: Strong experience with the Salesforce ecosystem (Apex, Lightning Web Components, integration patterns).
- Preferred: Hands-on proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, C#/.NET).
- Preferred: Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Proficiency in release management and software delivery lifecycle.
- Hands-on skills automating build, test, and deployment processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience working with infrastructure as code and automation frameworks.
- Experience leading software engineering teams in the delivery of digital products.
- Proven ability to design, build, and integrate complex, distributed systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate technical vision into business value. Compensation & Benefits
