About the Role The Lead Operator role focuses on inventory oversight for the site, ensuring raw materials and manufacturing supplies are available while controlling costs. You will monitor inventory accuracy, stock movements, and storage conditions, working with Planning, Production, Quality Control, and Warehouse teams to drive operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Ensure proper labeling and organization in the warehouse, in compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and 6S standards, including facilitating 5S warehouse audit walks
- Contribute to SOPs related to inventory and warehouse activities
- Investigate stock discrepancies, identify root causes and trends, and develop corrective action plans with proper documentation
- Lead the full cycle count program, including planning, execution, follow-up, documentation, KPI reporting, and collaboration with internal and external auditors
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system and ensure stock movements are correctly processed and documented
- Support administrative processing of internal requests and follow up on recurring processes
- Collaborate with Warehouse, Production, and Planning teams to optimize material flow, storage methods, and inventory handling
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes, accuracy, and efficiency
- Support system improvements, tools, or automation related to stock management
- Ensure all storage areas are properly labeled and products are stored in the correct locations
- Ensure procedures are followed in warehouse and unloading processes
- Ensure proper paperwork is completed and all BOLs submitted to the purchasing team

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- LEAN and 5S knowledge; strong organizational skills (preferred)
- Forklift certification

- Experience with inventory management or ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with audits or continuous improvement initiatives in a warehouse or production environment
