Lead Network Architect
Overview
Lead Network Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions across enterprise, cloud, and data center environments.
Responsibilities
- Design network architectures, technical roadmaps, and integration strategies aligned with business requirements.
- Lead the deployment of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, data center, and cloud networking solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend network hardware, software, and technologies.
- Drive network virtualization, automation, and cloud networking initiatives across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Implement network security best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and Zero Trust principles.
- Provide high-level technical troubleshooting and collaborate with IT and security teams to improve network performance and reliability.
- Support enterprise deployment planning, service availability, and solution integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in network architecture, engineering, or solutions design.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and other networking protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar network technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP), and network automation.
- Experience with firewalls, NAC, VPNs, and network security/Zero Trust principles.
- Strong solution design, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop scalable network solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
