About the Role Lead Mechanical Field Service Engineer - Centrifugal Compressors will be the first point of contact for our global customers on-site. You will lead activities, people and HSE compliance to a high standard, with opportunities to develop product knowledge in a dynamic environment. What You'll Do
- Provide technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance and quality.
- Oversee, overhaul, troubleshoot and commission Centrifugal Compressor products at customer sites.
- Lead in customer and contractor meetings to share action plans and to advise on technical solutions.
- Ensure internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.
- Travel to customer sites as required (up to 70%), and contribute to continuous improvement of field operations. What We're Looking For
- Technical Diploma.
- Be ready to travel significantly (up to 70%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities.
- Demonstrate a relevant working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment.
- Have great experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar).
- Display an impressive customer service-orientation mindset and experience leading customers through tough decisions.
- Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.
- Have a deep awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks.
- Be a motivated self-starter and be able to make key decisions and innovate solutions.
- Have excellent command and understanding of verbal and written English.
- Have an EU Passport or a European Work permit. Compensation & Benefits
- The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 41,600 to 57,200.
