Job title: Lead Instructor, Data Analytics Bootcamp (Part-time)
About the Role Lead instructor for our part-time Data Analytics Bootcamp in Singapore, delivering a hybrid on-campus/online program. You will guide learners through a rigorous data analytics curriculum, work with the instructional team, and mentor a community of lifelong learners pursuing work they love in data analytics.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with the instructional team (co-lead instructors, instructional associates, instructor manager) to guide students through a transformational journey.
- Adapt the global curriculum, create your own lesson plans, and contribute back lessons learned.
- Facilitate a safe, supportive, and energetic community that accommodates diverse abilities and learning styles.
- Teach the Data Analytics Bootcamp, including nine units and four major projects, with labs and independent work.
- Spend 17 hours a week teaching (14 hours) and hosting 3 hours of office hours; schedule Tuesday and Thursday evenings (7-10 PM, online) and Saturdays (9 AM-6 PM, on campus/online on alternate weeks).
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience cleaning messy data, analyzing data, and presenting data-based insights.
- Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Python.
- Strong experience with Python's pandas library for data manipulation, cleaning, and aggregation.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and practical experience with supervised and unsupervised learning.
- Experience with web scraping tools and techniques (e.g., BeautifulSoup).
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or training others in professional or educational settings.
- Authorization to work in Singapore (we are not sponsoring employees); ACLP/ACTA preferred.
