About this role
Lead HR Generalist to support our AMER region as part of Canonical's global HR function. You will drive regional HR initiatives and partner with global teams to deliver precise, compliant, and scalable HR operations across the employee lifecycle. This role is remote within the AMER region and involves partnering with leadership to shape the function.
Drive and execute on regional and global HR initiatives to align with business strategy. Provide precise, compliant, and scalable HR operations across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance, compensation, retention, offboarding). Advise and partner with regional leadership; interpret data trends and themes to inform HR decisions. Collaborate within a global HR team to ensure consistency and best practices. Maintain high attention to detail and analytical approach to HR data and processes.
Experience in HR with exposure to global or regional responsibilities. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data trends and themes. Ability to partner with leadership and work effectively across regions. Knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and employee lifecycle management.
