A Little About You

You bring a unique blend of personality and professional expertise to your work, inspiring others with your passion and dedication. Your career is a testament to your diverse experiences, community involvement, and the valuable lessons you've learned along the way. You are more than just your resume; you are a reflection of your achievements, the knowledge you've gained, and the personal interests that shape who you are.

Position Overview

As the Lead Healthcare Operations Training Specialist, you’ll design and run the performance enablement program that keeps Price Optimization teams accurate, productive and ready for change. You’ll own the curriculum structure for the business unit, from role-specific new hire training to refresher training and uptraining.

You’ll partner closely with our Quality Auditors. They identify performance gaps, and you turn those findings into enablement that closes them, then confirm results through follow-up audits. You’ll report to the Sr. Manager, Quality, Performance & Enablement and work alongside the Performance Enablement Specialist as a peer and informal mentor.

What You’ll Do

  • Enablement Program Ownership

  • Own the curriculum structure for all Price Optimization enablement, including role-specific new hire training, refresher training and uptraining

  • Set design standards, templates and quality guidelines for all training content

  • Run the enablement request process with the Sr. Manager, assessing needs and recommending priorities

  • Build and maintain an annual refresher training calendar across roles and workflows

  • Partner with the Sr. Manager to shape enablement strategy and plan for future enablement needs

  • Audit Partnership & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with Quality Auditors to review audit trends across teams and identify root causes

  • Turn systemic findings into enablement priorities and recommend where retraining will have the most impact

  • Confirm enablement effectiveness through follow-up audit results and adjust programs as needed

  • Join auditor calibration sessions so enablement and audit standards stay aligned

  • Enablement Design & Delivery

  • Design and deliver complex or high-visibility enablement, including new product, system and process launches

  • Facilitate live, virtual and self-paced training for new hires, tenured team members and leaders

  • Lead train-the-trainer sessions so subject matter experts (SMEs) can support delivery

  • Keep SOPs, job aids and knowledge base content current with operational and product changes

  • New Hire Readiness

  • Design the structure of role-specific new hire training, including proficiency checkpoints and graduation criteria

  • Define ramp-to-proficiency targets and connect them to audit scores during the new hire period

  • Measurement & Reporting

  • Define KPIs and a measurement framework, such as the Kirkpatrick model, to track enablement effectiveness

  • Report enablement impact on pricing accuracy, productivity and audit performance to business unit leadership

  • Use performance data to refine programs and show measurable results

  • Peer Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Mentor the Performance Enablement Specialist and review training content for quality and consistency

  • Partner with Operations, Product and business unit leaders to align enablement with priorities and upcoming changes

  • Drive adoption of new tools, workflows and best practices without direct authority

What You’ll Bring to Zelis:

  • 8+ years of experience in performance enablement, training or operations, including ownership of a full enablement program

  • Experience in healthcare claims pricing, reimbursement or related healthcare operations

  • Proven experience designing curriculum and enablement programs across multiple roles or teams

  • Strong facilitation skills with live and virtual audiences, from frontline staff to senior leaders

  • Experience using audit or performance data to identify gaps and measure enablement impact

  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills

  • Location and Workplace Flexibility

  • Zelis is headquartered in the U.S., with multiple locations across the country and in Hyderabad, India. Check out our locations to learn more about our offices.
