Job title: Lead Firmware Engineer
About the Role Logitech is seeking a Lead Firmware Engineer to join a small, nimble team focused on making video collaboration an amazing conference-room experience. You will design, implement, debug and test firmware for Android and Linux based platforms for new and existing products, and help ensure high quality, performance and security.
What You'll Do
- Design, Implement, Debug and Test the Firmware for Android and Linux based platforms. For new as well as existing products.
- Implementation of new and unique features that will differentiate the product.
- Ensure the product software has the highest quality, performance and security.
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of C and C++ language.
- 7+ years experience working on QCOM and or MTK SoC.
- Understanding of Linux Kernel and device drivers.
- Understanding of Android HAL architecture and development for new HAL modules.
- Understanding of Linux USB Gadget and following USB class specifications, UVC, UAC and HID.
- Familiar with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI and UART.
- Familiar with Oscilloscope and Logic Analyzers for verification of communication protocols.
- Strong architecture skills with an emphasis on API design and code reusability.
- Strong debugging skills.
- Can-do attitude and desire to solve problems.
- Good knowledge of revision control and code review tools like git and gerrit.
- Education: B.S, M.S. or in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of python language.
- Familiar with Linux scripting.
