About this role
About the Role Lead DevOps role focused on accelerating engineering efficiency, strengthening infrastructure reliability, and enhancing security across a cloud-native microservices platform for a major US retail eCommerce solution. You will drive CI/CD optimization, IaC maturity, security hardening, and platform modernization as part of an ongoing cloud migration.
What You'll Do
- Improve and standardize CI/CD pipelines across teams
- Optimize build, test, and deployment processes
- Enhance Infrastructure as Code practices
- Improve observability, reliability, and scalability of the platform
- Drive security improvements across infrastructure and delivery pipelines
- Implement DevSecOps best practices
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve operational processes
- Participate in architectural decision-making and continuous platform evolution
- Contribute to pre-sales and technical consulting activities when required
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Strong Kubernetes experience (production environments)
- CI/CD pipeline design and optimization
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or Azure Bicep
- Containers: Docker or Podman
- Scripting: Python and/or Bash
- PowerShell
- Experience with security best practices in cloud-native environments
- Leadership & Communication: Experience leading or mentoring engineers
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Ability to drive cross-team improvements
Nice to Have
- DevSecOps tooling (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, container scanning)
- Experience improving SDLC governance
- CI/CD platforms: GitLab CI, TeamCity, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
- ArgoCD or Flux
- Configuration Management: Salt, Puppet, Chef
- Programming: Python, Golang
- English: B2 Upper Intermediate
