Lead Civil & Structural Assurance Consultant
Location: Lagos
Key Focus Areas
- Civil and structural construction assurance
- Foundations, piling and reinforced concrete works
- Structural steelwork and industrial structures
- Earthworks, roads, drainage and underground infrastructure
- Construction QA/QC and technical inspections
- Contractor progress verification and certification
- Non-conformance identification and close-out
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in the relevant engineering, Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant post-qualification experience, including experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Significant experience on industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, fertilizer, power, manufacturing, or major infrastructure projects.
- Relevant professional registration or chartered status, such as COREN, CEng, PE, MRICS, FRICS, NIQS, RQS, or equivalent, as applicable to the discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical, engineering, quantity surveying, cost, commercial, or assurance teams.
- Experience in EPC/EPCM, Owner's Engineer, Third-Party Inspection, Project Assurance, Construction Supervision, Technical Audit, or Cost/Commercial Assurance environments.
- Strong understanding of contractor progress verification, quality assurance, risk identification, documentation, and certification processes.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, reporting and stakeholder-management skills.
- High professional integrity, independence and impartiality.
- Ability and willingness to work in Nigeria for the duration of the assignment.
