Job title: Lead Business Consultant, Investment Operations
About the Role Lead Business Consultant specializing in IBOR within SimCorp Dimension, responsible for implementing software on investment operations projects for banks, asset managers, and insurers. You will work full-time on implementation streams, acting as a sparring partner for clients, coordinating issues, and guiding project delivery.
What You'll Do
- Lead parts of SimCorp Dimension implementation projects; gather customer requirements and outline solutions for investment operations.
- Collaborate with the project manager and key roles to drive project success.
- Apply Simcorp Global Standard Solutions in project delivery.
- Serve as the primary client contact for SimCorp Dimension questions.
- Mentor less experienced colleagues and promote best practices.
- Contribute to know-how exchange across international teams.
- Monitor, coordinate, and escalate issues as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as an Implementation Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks or consulting firms.
- Expertise in at least two areas: Asset Management Back Office or Financial Reporting or related consulting.
- 3-5 years hands-on experience in asset management and investment operations; experience with IBOR implementations on the buy side.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise implementations and applications similar to SimCorp Dimension.
- Knowledge in Asset Servicing (Corporate Actions, SWIFT), Cash Processing, Collateral Management, Fees Processing, Reconciliation; familiarity with Aux/Batches and Communication Server.
- Trade processing/settlement experience is a plus.
- Degree in Business (Accounting/Finance/Economics) or Mathematics/Applied Sciences; or equivalent.
- Self-starter, strong communication in English; travel up to 50%; hybrid work policy (2x/week in Toronto or 3x/week in New York).
- SimCorp Dimension experience is a plus.
