Lead BA - Finance

About the Role The Lead BA - Finance is responsible for delivering finance solutions that meet the needs of Dr. Martens as we execute our growth strategy. This role will partner with the finance team to ensure seamless implementation, integration and optimisation of technology. You will be an experienced, hands-on D365 Finance Business Analyst, managing functional finance enhancements from defining business and systems requirements through UAT, training and implementation in a fast-moving environment. What You'll Do

• Support and develop reliable and efficient technology solutions for the finance function (3rd/4th line support).
• Ensure platforms bring automation and improved efficiency to business processes, enabling maximum return on investment.
• Build relationships with the finance function to ensure strong collaboration.
• Stay ahead of advancements in technologies and methodologies, introducing innovations as needed.
• Act as a key member of the Finance technology team; develop plans for governance, delivery models and management of finance and transactional data.
• Build documented functional and technical specifications for finance applications.
• Audit existing implementations of finance and supply chain systems and recommend improvements for deployment and utilisation.
• Support continual improvement of the Finance team through technology, including cross-functional process design, adoption of best practices, conventions & standards, and security controls.
• Advise on optimal solutions available for immediate business process requirements.
• Manage relationships and service levels with third-party service providers.
• Pro-actively engage Finance stakeholders to influence key decisions and conduct regular operational service reviews to ensure plans, prioritisation and delivery align with stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure there is sufficient systems process documentation and that security controls are robust and working as expected. What We're Looking For
• An experienced, hands-on, outcome-focused D365 Finance Business Analyst.
• Deep understanding of finance processes and how technology can enable growth.
• Ability to define business and system requirements, manage UAT, training and implementation, and work with high-level stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
