Role Purpose
Involves the overall planning, implementation, and optimization of all activities and support required for the buying and delivery of products and services, from material acquisition through delivery. Primary areas include procurement and contracting, supply management, inventory management, logistics operations, supplier diversity, transportation and distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Represents Global Supply Management (GSM) within the plant/business which would involve engaging Corporate functions, Shared Services as well as Corporate GSM functions as necessary to assure global Buying Policy enforcement; global Customs Compliance adherence. Establishes linkage between GSM Strategy, Business Strategy and Plant Strategy through shared objectives.
