About the Role We are looking for an experienced Lead 3D Character Artist (and Lead 3D Environment Artist) for an unannounced project. This is remote freelance work on Fortnite, focusing on hand-painted textures and mentoring a team of artists while collaborating with clients.
What You'll Do
- Lead 3D character art and environment art for the project, with an emphasis on hand-painted textures
- Provide technical and artistic feedback, review work, and mentor other 3D artists
- Ensure assets align with the modern game asset production pipeline, styling, and game engines
- Communicate with customers and participate in remote collaboration
- Manage tasks under planning and deadlines
