About the Role Lead 3D Character Artist for an unannounced project at Dragonfly Studio. This remote role focuses on leading a team of artists, providing technical and artistic feedback, and shaping asset production for a Fortnite-based project. What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of 3D artists, review work, and ensure asset quality across environments and characters.
- Provide both technical and artistic feedback, maintain production assets, and drive hand-painted texture pipelines.
- Collaborate with designers, programmers, and the customer via calls, emails to align on direction.
- Manage remote collaboration and ensure adherence to planning and deadlines.
- Work within modern asset production pipelines and game engine workflows. What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Lead 3D Character Artist or similar senior role in game development.
- Strong mentoring and feedback skills; ability to review 3D artists' work and guide improvements.
- Deep understanding of the asset production pipeline, styling, and game engine integration.
- Excellent English communication skills; able to conduct business communication.
- Ability to work with creative teams, be communicative, persuasive, and initiative-taking.
- Fluency in Russian language required.
- Experience with outsourcing or working in a game development team is a plus.
- Art education or strong artistic background.
- Willingness to work remotely; own workstation. Nice to Have
