Company Description Noticeora is a technology and legal services platform dedicated to helping independent creators regain control over their work, image, and identity online. The company continuously scans the web to identify unauthorized copies, impersonation accounts, and AI-generated synthetic media involving a creator’s likeness, then verifies each match to focus on genuine violations. Once confirmed, Noticeora coordinates takedown requests across platforms, search engines, and hosting providers, tracking every step so creators can see what has been found, filed, and removed. The organization is built around facial-recognition-driven detection and a modern legal framework tailored to deepfakes and nonconsensual content. Noticeora’s ultimate goal is to protect creators’ income, reputation, and peace of mind so they can focus on creating rather than chasing stolen content.
Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Lawyer with deep expertise in the DMCA and the TAKE IT DOWN Act. The Lawyer will lead the design, review, and execution of takedown strategies under U.S. copyright law and newer nonconsensual content regulations, ensuring requests are legally sound, timely, and enforceable. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and sending takedown notices to platforms, search engines, and hosting providers; assessing evidence of infringement or nonconsensual content; and advising internal teams on legal risk, escalation paths, and compliance requirements. The role also involves monitoring changes in relevant legislation and case law, creating internal playbooks and templates, and representing Noticeora in communications with platforms, regulators, and external counsel when needed. The Lawyer will collaborate closely with product, operations, and support teams to ensure Noticeora’s processes align with evolving legal standards and best protect creators’ rights.
