About the Role Greater Grounds is seeking a Lawn Care Technician to join our team and deliver year-round lawn care, trimming, landscaping, and snow removal services for residential, commercial, and estate properties. The role involves operating commercial-grade equipment, consulting with customers on the best timing for treatments, and ensuring clean, healthy outdoor spaces.
What You'll Do
- Perform weekly lawn mowing from May 1 to October 15 for residential, commercial, estate, and acreages; trim around trees, edges, and obstacles.
- Carry out spring & fall cleanups, tree/shrub/hedge trimming, weed control, fertilizing, and landscaping tasks such as planting trees, laying mulch, garden bed installation, decorative rock and gravel.
- Provide snow removal to driveways, sidewalks, stairs, and walking paths with a 24-hour guarantee after snow fall end; assist with acreage plowing and commercial properties.
- Use commercial-grade equipment; dispose of trimmings; use leaf blowers to clean debris; mulch leaves with mower; power rake, aerate, and fertilize.
- Apply liquid-based weed control and granular turf fertilizer to maintain healthy grass.
- Coordinate with customers on trimming timing to maintain plant health.
- Maintain a customer-facing, reliable schedule and support various property types.
- Operate and maintain equipment safely and follow company standards.
What We're Looking For
- Interest in lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal; willingness to work outdoors and handle physical tasks.
- Ability to operate and maintain commercial equipment used for mowing, trimming, aeration, fertilization, and leaf cleanup.
- Good communication with customers and teammates; ability to follow timing recommendations for pruning and treatments.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work across residential, commercial, estate, and acreage properties.
- Knowledge of basic horticulture and landscape maintenance to support healthy lawns and plants.
