About the Role The Mexico City Office is seeking Mexico-trained law students for positions as law clerks. Clerks will gain training across a wide range of Jones Day’s practices and work with lawyers in Mexico City and globally. Based on performance and fit, law clerks may receive an offer to join Jones Day as an associate. What You'll Do
- Work across a variety of practices to gain training and practical experience in cross-border matters.
- Collaborate with Jones Day lawyers in Mexico City and across the firm's global offices to support inbound investments, international operations and capital markets activities.
- Participate in training sessions and firm-wide programs designed to develop professional skills. Based on performance, there may be an opportunity to join Jones Day as an associate. What We're Looking For
- Mexico-trained law students with excellent academic records.
- Strong English proficiency.
- Interest in gaining exposure across multiple practices and a client-service mindset.
- Preference for candidates who have gone on to obtain an LL.M. degree in the United States. Nice to Have
