We are a rehabilitation facility in need of a Laundry Personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron a variety of linen and garment items according to standard operating procedures.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipments, including washers, dryers, ironers, and pressing machines.
- Monitor laundry cycles and adjust settings as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Identify and pretreat stains, and handle delicate items with care.
- Inspect all laundered items for quality, ensuring they meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry processed, including damaged or missing items.
- Clean and maintain the laundry area and equipment regularly to ensure a safe and sanitary working environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Facility Manager promptly.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies (detergents, softeners, etc.) and inform the Facility Manager when restocking is required.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Priority will be given to candidates who reside around Ajah and its environs.
