Job Description
- Oversee all daily laundry operations (sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding).
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry facility.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development
- Ensure proper functioning of washers, dryers, ironers, and folders
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs
- Manage inventory of linens, uniforms, chemicals, and supplies
- Inspect finished laundry for cleanliness and presentation.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer expectations
- Enforce health and safety regulations
- Train staff on safe chemical handling and equipment use
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or Equivalent
- +5 years' experience in Laundry Management in luxury atmosphere
- Leadership and team management
- Attention to detail
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of laundry processes, chemicals, and equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Additional Information
- experience is an asset
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
- Fluency in English
- additional languages are a plus
