About this role

Job title: Launch Project Quality Engineer

About the Role Launch Project Quality Engineer at Autoliv Poland will oversee quality-related activities for launch projects, ensuring supplier quality, process excellence and adherence to automotive Core Tools and standards to save lives.

What You'll Do

  • Manage suspicious and non-conforming material
  • Troubleshooting according to the 8D methodology and AS063 guidelines
  • Communicate progress and results of problem analysis within the organization and to customers
  • Determine and supervise the implementation of corrective actions
  • Determine the scope of rework according to AS064
  • Conduct gap analysis and generate actions for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate sorting actions
  • Define and supervise IIP per AS412
  • Report quality process indicators
  • Represent Autoliv's quality interests to customers, suppliers and audit bodies
  • Support line acceptances/modifications
  • Issue and manage complaints to suppliers (D1-D3)
  • Record costs related to nonconformance and issue charges
  • Define MVP/MCP and control/measurement methods
  • Verify APDS activity results meet requirements
  • Submit PPAP documentation to customers
  • Ensure availability and up-to-date inspection plans in pre-series and series
  • Actively participate in customer visits, audits and system audits
  • Conduct commissioned internal audits
  • Identify threats and escalate appropriately
  • Participate in creating SC/CC, PFMEA list
  • Develop Error Proofing and Poka-Yoke
  • Support implementation/maintenance of Lessons Learned system
  • Support market return analysis for APA-required cases
  • Communicate project status, CSR requirements and retraining needs within the organization

What We're Looking For

  • Higher education
  • Knowledge of 8D methodology
  • Knowledge of Core Tools (PPAP, FMEA, CP, PF, MSA, SPC)
  • Ability to execute and complete a project as a team leader
  • Certifications from automotive Core Tools
  • Auditor certificate VDA 6.3 / IATF 16949:2016
  • CSR certificates of customers from the Automotive industry
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, TISAX
  • Knowledge of VDA Standards, Knowledge of AIAG Standards
  • Ability to work in a team

  • Ability to organize work and prioritize
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • Availability to travel
