About this role
About the Role As a Launch Manager at Hangzhou, you will be the operative launch lead in the plant, interface to the divisional launch management, and a methodical launch expert ensuring proper execution according to GDPEP and the GD Launch Process (in development). You will secure all operative project targets in supply, quality, feasibility, industrial engineering and productivity, report the launch status per the GD Launch Process, and support customer projects throughout the lifecycle. What You'll Do
- Act as operative launch responsible in the plant and interface to divisional launch management
- Ensure proper execution per GDPEP and the GD Launch Process
- Ensure all operative project targets in supply, quality, feasibility, Industrial engineering and productivity
- Report the launch status according to the GD Launch Process
- Support in customer projects
- Early involvement in projects from an operations viewpoint
- Support staffing during project start
- Support rollout of the GD Launch Process in the plant
- Support divisional launch projects What We're Looking For
- Degree in Industrial Engineering/Technical Business Administration or Mechanical Engineering with sound knowledge of business administration
- Several years of experience in Operations / Project Management / or similar in the automotive environment
- Fluent in oral and written English
