Launch Intern (Data and AI)

About the Role Autoliv seeks a Launch Intern (Data and AI) to support data and AI initiatives within product, engineering, and business teams. The role includes data preparation and exploration, documenting assumptions and launch checklists, and assisting with model/pipeline monitoring post-launch while seeking process improvements.

What You'll Do

• Support data and AI initiatives while working closely with product, engineering, and business teams.
• Prepare and clean datasets, document assumptions, and perform exploratory analyses to identify patterns, biases, and data quality requirements.
• Contribute to technical and process documentation: logs, user guides, and launch checklists.
• Participate in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and presenting results to internal stakeholders.
• Assist in post-launch monitoring of models and pipelines, collecting metrics and reporting incidents to owners.
• Stay up-to-date with data and AI trends and propose practical improvements to speed up launches and ensure quality.

What We're Looking For

• Advanced student in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Practical knowledge in Python and common libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, numpy); SQL proficiency.
• Basic understanding of ML concepts (regression, classification, cross-validation) and evaluation metrics.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
• Proactive, energetic attitude with willingness to learn and continuous improvement focus.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data presentation and knowledge in data analytics.
• Ability to work in a team, communicate clearly, and receive constructive feedback.
• Conversational English minimum B2.

Nice to Have

• Desirable: experience with ML projects, version control (Git), and AI exposure.
