Job title: Latinx Institute Assistant (Remote)

About the Role The Latinx Mental Health and Social Justice Institute at Antioch University is seeking a part-time, fully remote assistant to help promote and grow the Institute, manage communications, and support partnerships with community stakeholders. This position runs from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 and reports to the Institute's director.

What You'll Do

• Attend weekly one-on-one and collaborative meetings with the supervisor and institute members (approximately 2-4 hours per week combined).
• Manage social media and content delivery, including search and creation of materials (5-10 hours).
• Support marketing efforts and outreach (5-10 hours).
• Engage or lead Institute projects and initiatives such as service, community engagement, collaborations, and related activities (5-15 hours).
• Assist with organizing the annual symposium (5-15 hours).
• If proficient in Spanish, create Spanish content and translate materials (5-20 hours).
• Perform administrative tasks (e.g., creating tables, graphs, PowerPoint presentations, Canva announcements) and coordinate with institute partners (5-15 hours).

• Strong organizational skills and familiarity with various social media platforms; ability to take initiative and meet institute goals.
• Experience with event organization and administrative tasks (e.g., creating tables, graphs, presentations, Canva).
• Spanish language skills are preferred.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience organizing events.
• Additional language or content creation experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• This is a part-time, 20 hours/week Work Study position with a fully remote arrangement.
• Start: 2026-07-01; End: 2027-06-30.
• Salary details are not specified in the posting; compensation follows Antioch University Work Study guidelines (hourly-based).
• Remote work with ongoing supervision via weekly check-ins and biweekly work submission.
