About the Role Join our logistics team as a Parcel Delivery Driver operating a 26’ DOT box truck from Carteret, NJ to walking carriers in Manhattan. This full-time role requires a dependable, detail-oriented driver who can work overnight and meet DOT requirements. What You'll Do
- Safely operate a 26' DOT box truck.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of parcels from the Carteret warehouse to Manhattan.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle mileage, and cargo information.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any mechanical issues, accidents, or violations promptly.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and walking couriers to coordinate pick-ups and deliveries. What We're Looking For
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid New Jersey Driver's License.
- DOT certification and a valid DOT Medical Examiners Certificate (MEC). Note: DOT certification offered through our partner.
- Experience operating a 26' DOT Box Truck is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work day-shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule.
- Full-time availability preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Nice to Have
