About the Role
Join AoPS Academy as a Language Arts Instructor in Sugar Land, TX for the 2026-2027 academic year. You will teach engaging language arts curriculum to small afterschool classes, inspire young learners, and build meaningful relationships with students and families. Schedule includes evening and weekend classes in an in-person setting at our Sugar Land campus.
What You'll Do

Teach engaging curriculum using company-created materials to lead small language arts classes

Actively involve students in each class for student-led learning

Manage a class of up to 16 students

Grade tests and provide feedback

Build relationships with students and families

Inspire a love of learning and critical thinking in language arts

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree required; degree in education or humanities strongly preferred

Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and grammar

Experience teaching or tutoring students

Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level preferred
