Job Description

Mshel Homes Ltd is seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in Abuja. This on-site role is essential for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our land development projects.

As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting precise land measurements, preparing detailed survey reports, and interpreting legal land documents. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting our engineering and construction teams, ensuring all projects meet regulatory requirements and design specifications. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed land surveys using advanced instruments such as GPS, total stations, theodolites, and drones.
• Prepare precise survey reports, maps, and plans.
• Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and legal land documents.
• Calculate boundaries, areas, and elevations with high accuracy.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, site managers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS tools) for drafting and analysis.
• Maintain detailed records of survey data and project progress.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to land boundaries and site conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certification/licensure as a Land Surveyor (where applicable).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in real estate or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of surveying instruments (GPS, total station, theodolite, drones).
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS tools).
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for precise measurements.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and legal land documents.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
